You're at the store, in the bread isle. You're trying to determine which loaf of whole-grain would be the cheapest, when, from the corner of your eye, you see something very peculiar. You could of swore you saw a black blotch zoom past your isle. Then again, you've been needing to get your eyes checked for months. You brush it off, and return to comparing prices.

Soon after, still in the bread isle: You see it again! This time on the opposite side of the isle. Now you know there's nothing wrong with your eyes. By this time, you found the cheapest loaf, and already had placed it in your cart. You begin to scroll down the isle. Cautiously.

You reach the end of the isle and motion to turn right when, to your horror, you find out where the black-blotch was coming from:
Standing less than three feet away, at about 5'6, wearing a black cloak, purple mask, and holding a mug. Wait... what? Before you are able to comprehend what you are seeing, the hooded figure reaches out toward you... and places the mug in your cart. Now you're really confused, but before you're able to ask questions, with the swoosh of a cloak, the hooded-figure is gone.

You stand still... not quite sure what has happened nor what to expect. Once you have regained control of yourself, you look into a mug. Inside is a card that reads:

"Mayor's Youth Advisory Council

Pay it Forward!"

You also notice a gift card and several other treats inside the mug. Then it occurs to you what just happened.

The Mayor's Youth Advisory Council, since the beginning of the holidays, has been dispatching members disguised as "MASKED MYAC-ers" to bestow upon the fine people of Kendallville gifts in hope that it will inspire them to pay it forward. You may have already seen the Masked MYAC-er at local businesses. There is no place in particular where you can expect us, and we plan to keep giving gifts away until we run out of gifts!

So... if you see someone with a purple mask and a black cloak walking toward you, don't be afraid! It's just us!
