Want to learn about the workings of municipal government? Ever wondered where your tax dollars have gone and how they have been used to improve the City of Kendallville? Enroll for Kendallville's annual Citizen's Academy!

Kendallville's Citizens' Academy is open to anyone who is interested in the how and why of local government. The comprehensive course takes place every Monday night from September into November.

All MYAC Members are urged, however not required, to take this course. All interested citizens need to fill out a form and turn it into City Hall prior to the first course on September the 8th, 2014. A minimum of 5 persons are required.

The Mayor's Youth Advisory Council (that's us!) will be operating the iconic Popcorn Stand on William Street, west of Main Street, this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Aug. 22, 23, 24) from 5:00 until 8:30 PM. Proceeds will go towards the purchasing of new playground equipment and MYAC's general fund!

MYAC's first meeting will take place on September the 4th, at 6:30. The meeting will be at Kendallville City Hall, in the Police Training Room on the third floor. (Right from the Stairs) Teens grades 6 thru 12 are welcome to come by and learn about MYAC and what we do! 

ELIGIBILITY 
Persons interested in becoming a member of MYAC must be in Jr High or High School, and must reside in Noble County.
